[iPhone App] miniGORE

Chillingo has brought out a rather nice game called miniGORE. The game is a 3D survival shooter, where you control a boxy looking figure called John through a forest to shoot at Furries.

I think of all the apps I have seen so far, miniGORE has the nicest graphics. They've even created a musical score especially for the game, how cool is that?

Pros:

Great graphics.
Good music.
High cuteness factor.
Simple yet entertaining gameplay.

Cons:

Unless I didn't get it, the controls definitely need some fine tuning. The bottom left side of the screen is used for navigation, while the bottom right is used for firing. What I noticed is that while I am firing, I cannot turn around. I have to walk backwards or forwards and then move to the right or left to bring the cute Furries into my line of fire, instead of being able to turn around on the same point and aim my fire at the enemy.

This seriously hampers game play and the overall enjoyment. Some improvements are badly needed here.
