Samsung LE40B650 and Wireless Mode

The other day I wrote briefly about the Samsung LE40B650 LCD TV and the great features it has. Now, my first gripe with the firmware. UpdatedI am hoping someone with a TV from the same series will come across this post.

My main complaint at the moment is that the TV does not seem to store my wifi password. I keep having to enter it manually in order to connect to my home wireless network.

As I mentioned in the earlier post, I bought the Samsung Wireless LAN Adapter for the TV, using this adapter I can find my home network, and after entering the password, can connect easily.

Once connected I am able to view the music and videos on my LaCie NetworkSpace without problems.

It's just that connecting to my network requires manually entering the password each time, or at least once or twice a day.

I hope this is a bug in the firmware, and will try to contact Samsung.

Have any other users experienced this?

Update: Upon fiddling with the TV more, I have noticed that patience is truly beneficial. It seems that the TV is in fact storing my wifi password.

I expected the TV to connect to my wifi network immediately after being turned on. However I have noticed that it will take up to 5 mins after being turned on, for it to connect, but in the end it does connect.

So this is issue is solved.
