[iPhone App] 5-Row QWERTY Keyboard

For jailbroken iPhones only. This app, adds a keyboard with 5 rows to your iPhone. The fifth row holds the numbers, so you don't have to click on 123 to get numbers.

This is a simple tweak, yet it will make your life much easier, and allow you to type numbers much faster.

Clicking on the 123 key will give you several symbols instead.

Guided Ways has brought a beautifully developed iPhone app to create contact groups.

Use it to send mass mails or group sms.

You can map location information for groups as well.

Groups syncs with Address Book and MobileMe.

Graphically the application looks great; colour and design harmony is prevalent throughout all menus.

With the continued popularity of the iPhone, several websites are offering services to help users find iPhone apps, monitor price developments and read reviews.

One such service is called AppBeacon, after signing up a free account, you can bookmark applications and keep track of price drops.

You can also post comments, informing others of your experiences with a certain app.

[iPhone App] Tabulator

Due to the way the iPhone is locked by Apple, adding functionality sometimes requires ingenious methods.

Tabulator is not really an application, but a set of javascript commands that can be saved as a bookmark. If you then load this bookmark while viewing a page on the iPhone, the javascript gets activated and can then add functionality to your browser. The bookmark has to be activated every time you desire the functionality.

What Tabulator does, is pop up a menu every time you click on a link, that offers you the ability to open a link, open it in a new tab, or flag it for later opening.

It is a nice and simple feature that is minimalist and does its job well.

In the following screenshot, I clicked on a link, and the Tabulator pop-up window appears offering my three options. Blue means 'open it in the same window', green means 'open in a new tab', and the last button is to mark the link for later opening.
